The repeal of the NJ Short Term Rental Sales Tax was passed by both the Assembly Bill A4814 and Senate Bill S3158. 

Now it is up to the governor!

This draconian law, enacted on October 1, 2018 added a total of 11.625% in sales tax and occupancy fees, sometimes more, to rentals under 90 days in NJ. This targeted shore rentals most of all and was a cash grab directly from middle class families.
